Lourdes School of Quezon City Signs Up
To Automate Its Libraries

Oct 2005, LSQC's Rev. Fr. Antonio C Yapchiongco, OFM Cap
and Ms. Imelda Sevilla, LSQC's Chief Librarian signed up with GSoft to automate
the school's high school library, grade school library and audio visual library
using GSoft's LISA.
The library automation agreement requires to cleanse the more than 20000 volumes
of print and non-print library records and have it barcoded and encoded into the
new system from November 2005 to March 2006. The agreement also covered the provisions
for necessary equipments such as the library server and peripherals, barcode scanners,
networking devices and supporting software licenses.
The system should be ready for launch before SY 2006-2007 begins. Come June 2006,
students and teachers will experience a new and redefined library experience.
