GSoft at Software Innovations Philippines 2006
May 8-10 of 2006, Makati Shangrila
Big thanks to Mylene Castillo and Microsoft Philippines for putting up this
unprecedented software event and giving GSoft the opportunity and support needed
to be part of the grand showcasing of the country's top software development companies.
This event, the brainchild of Ms. Castillo of Microsoft Philippines has catapulted
the country into the world which will greatly benefit all of the country's software
development companies.
As one of Microsoft Philippines partner, GSoft occupied one of the main exhibit
areas dedicated entirely for ISVs focusing on the academic sector. The company showcased
ACADEMIC-ERP, a suite of applications that provide automated solutions for academic
institutions in areas of student registration and enrollment, library management,
grades computation and management and a lot more.
Also, thanks to Joanne Go of IBM
Philippines, and the nice ladies of MSI-ECS Lyn Torres, Beth Magalong and Joanne
Manalac for providing us the servers eServer x336 and x346, an IBM T41 Thinkpad
and Lonovo E51 Desktop so we can run ACADEMIC-ERP. Also thanks to Alme Sasil of
HMOPI for providing us the Posiflex POS Machine to run LISA6's Circulation Manager.
